Join us in our Bunbury store for our ' Trendy Treats cupcakes Decorating Class' 

"This class is perfect if you would like to learn how to pipe buttercream to create stunning designs on cupcakes that are useful for all occasions"

Basic info : 9.20 am arrival for a 9.30 am start on Wednesday 28th May 2025.  Allow  1 hours. No baking involved. Take home your work of art = 6 x cupcakes newfound knowledge

On arrival we will have your work station set up with all the tools you need to decorate with.

Joellen will be sharing her techniques, tips and hints through the morning.

Buttercream / Colours - We will be using american buttercream and gel based colours, learn how to make the most of your colours and achieve various shades using a mix of 2 colours. 

Piping techniques -  How to fill a piping bag like a pro - the mess free way, which piping tips to use for different designs.Before we start piping on the cupcakes we will have a practice on a sheet of baking paper. 

Decorating - Take your cupcakes to the next level with the addition of  sprinkles and glitter spray.

Joellen is self taught baker and cake decorator with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiam. Her passion is in the detail and many hours are enjoyed decorating cupcakes and cakes. She is one of our regular teachers offering a variety of classes and works in the shop as well.

You will leave this class feeling confident about your newfound knowledge that can be used on future decorating for cookies,cakes and cupcakes. 

Important Info:

• Bookings are essential, full payment is required to confirm your place.
• Images used are our inspiration guide. Colours will vary!
• Please bring a water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
• Long hair to be tied back.
• An apron will be supplied.
• This class is suitable for ages 13 - 80 years (If your child is booking and you would like to stay please let me know when making the booking as we will need to accommodate extra space)
• Our venue is approved by the Bunbury City Council for classes
• Classes are held at 3/7 Hennessy Rd (our Bunbury store)
• If you need to cancel, we will hold a credit for a future class if cancelled earlier than 3 weeks before the class
• If cancellation is within 3 weeks all monies will be forfeited
• If we need to cancel due to lack of numbers or illness we will provide a full refund.
