Indulge in the art of buttercream piping to create stunning realistic edible flowers in our cupcake decorating class! Discover the latest Flower piping set by Mondo which we will be using to create stunning, Instagram-worthy designs on your cupcakes. You'll learn how to use these piping tips like a pro. Our expert instructor will guide you Join us and turn your cupcakes into edible works of art!

Basic info : 9.20 am arrival for a 9.30 am start on Saturday 29th March 2025.  Allow  1.5 hours. No baking involved. Take home your work of art = 6 cupcakes and newfound knowledge

On arrival we will have your work station set up with all the tools you need to decorate 6 cupcakes.

Beccy will be sharing their techniques, tips and hints through the morning.

Buttercream / Colours - We will be using american buttercream, mixed with gel and oil based colours to achieve various shades plus creating two tone effect for piping. 

Piping techniques -  How to fill a piping bag like a pro - the mess free way, which piping tips to use for different designs / flowers /leaves.Before we start piping on the cupcakes we will have a practice on a sheet of baking paper.

Beccy is self taught baker and cake decorator with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiam. Her passion is in the detail and many hours are enjoyed decorating cupcakes and cakes. She is one of our regular teachers offering a variety of classes and works in the shop as well.

You will leave this class feeling confident about your newfound knowledge that can be used on future decorating for cakes and cupcakes. 

As this is a new flower piping tip set that we are using, we are offering a 20% discount on the set to anyone that purchases on the day. 

Important Info:

• Images used are our inspiration guide. Colours will vary!
• Please bring a water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
• Long hair to be tied back.
• An apron will be supplied.
• This class is suitable for ages 16 - 80 years (If your teenager is booking and you would like to stay please let me know when making the booking as we will need to accommodate extra space)
• Our venue is approved by the Bunbury City Council for classes
• Classes are held at 3/7 Hennessy Rd (our Bunbury store)
• Full Payment is required to secure your place
• If you need to cancel, we will hold a credit for a future class if cancelled earlier than 3 weeks before the class
• If cancellation is within 3 weeks all monies will be forfeited
• If we need to cancel due to lack of numbers or illness we will provide a full refund.
