Whether you're a baking enthusiast looking to expand your skills or a beginner eager to learn the basics, this class is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth and a love for beautiful desserts. Join us and turn your cupcakes into edible works of art!

Basic info : 9.20 am arrival for a 9.30 am start on Wednesday 16th April 2025.  Allow  1 .5 hours. No baking involved. Take home your work of art = 2 stacked cookies and newfound knowledge.

Note that the image above is our inspiration - we will be making 1 x stacked rabbit and 1 x stacked easter egg.

On arrival we will have your work station set up with all the tools you need to decorate.

Joellen will be sharing their techniques, tips and hints through the class.

Buttercream / Colours - We will be using american buttercream, with a mix of oil and gel based colours in a mix of white and pastel shades.

Piping techniques -  How to fill a piping bag like a pro - the mess free way, which piping tips to use for different designs.

Decorating - Our cookie stacks will have fondant toppers that you will make from a selection of easter inspired moulds, decorate with buttercream piping as well as a mix of edible items.Take them to the next level with the addition of  sprinkles, easter eggs and glitter spray.

Joellen is self taught baker and cake decorator with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiam. Her passion is in the detail and many hours are enjoyed decorating cupcakes and cakes. She is one of our regular teachers offering a variety of classes and works in the shop as well.

You will leave this class feeling confident about your newfound knowledge that can be used on future decorating for cakes and cupcakes.

Important Info:

• Images used are our inspiration guide. Colours and patterns will vary!
• Please bring a water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
• Long hair to be tied back.
• An apron will be supplied.
• This class is suitable for all  ages 
• Our venue is approved by the Bunbury City Council for classes
• Classes are held at 3/7 Hennessy Rd (our Bunbury store)
• Full Payment is required to secure your place
• If you need to cancel, we will hold a credit for a future class if cancelled earlier than 3 weeks before the class
• If cancellation is within 3 weeks all monies will be forfeited
• If we need to cancel due to lack of numbers or illness we will provide a full refund.
